ABOUT US
Michelle Lim is the Principal Optometrist whom attained her BSc in Optometry (Hons) from Cardiff University, Wales, which is renowned for its consistently highest ranked UK Optometry school with great emphasis placed on the scientific and clinical aspects of the profession. During her years spent in the UK, she was trained in the different specialty clinics including binocular vision, contact lens, low vision and also patients with special needs like down syndrome, cerebral palsy etc.
She has since been practising professionally both in the private retail practice as a primary eye care provider, as well as within a clinical setting as a supervising clinician to train the diploma in Optometry students at Singapore Polytechnic. She has also been a Lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, who coordinated and taught Ocular Pharmacology and Clinical Optometry to the second year Optometry students, as well as Clinical Practice modules to the final year students.
Throughout her optometric career, she has also actively taken part both individually, or leading student groups, in various community vision screening projects both locally, as well as overseas like Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and India.
